My bathroom job was a COMPLETE overhaul. The window needed to move, the door needed to move, and I had scheduling conflicts in the middle of the project due to a vacation. The team was amazing through it all. The planning process was easier than I expected and I was able to see scale model of the layout before committing to anything. They also offered suggestions on details like paint colors and fixtures when it was clear that I was having some decision fatigue.
A huge bonus for me was also the way they respected my house (and my dog!). They cleaned up each day, always let me know what was happening, and allowed my dog to say his good mornings and good byes so he wouldn't be worried.

We had Mike redo our upstairs bathroom and also completely gut the family room downstairs and knockout the garage and add a half bath and redo it. Everything turned out amazing. As a very happy new and continuing customer, I cannot recommend Ideal Remodeling enough! Mike and his team did a wonderful job installing window casing, baseboards, and closet doors to finish off the attic of my 1920s bungalow into a master bedroom. I was going for a certain look and these guys delivered.

Mike was very patient with my many questions as I chose the styles for the materials, and he offered opinions and suggestions on what would work best for my quirky old home. His guys worked for a solid five days and were very respectful of my home as they bought materials in and out. They left the space clean as if construction never happened.

Spring 2024
Another 5 star project by Ideal Remodeling!
After living through another cold winter in my house I knew it was time to replace my windows. For additional comfort I wanted to a gas fireplace in my living room with space for a larger TV.
I searched online for ideas and cut and pasted parts of different pictures to show an idea of what I wanted the fireplace to look like.
To bring it to life I knew Ideal Remodeling was the right team for the job.
They gave me exactly what I was looking for in my new fireplace wall with built in cabinets. I could not be happier with their work and attention to detail.
They did a very professional job in replacing all my windows. Mike K, Mike G and Zach look at every detail and make sure the job is done right.

Fall 2022
After finding water damage on my sunroom I called Ideal Remodeling. I knew their quality of work based on previous projects.
Mike and his team came in and determined the cause and assessed the extent of the damage. They rebuilt the entire exterior of the room and added a beautiful small deck.
Mike and his team do high quality work with great attention to detail. They are very easy to work with and very accomodating to my change requests and questions. As a dog lover I also appreciated their efforts to keep my dogs secure as they were in and out of my house and back yard.
I am thrilled with my "new & improved " sunroom and will call on Ideal for any future projects.

2018 - 2019
Based on work Mike, Rodney and their team previously did at my house (see below) when I asked Ideal to update my powder room I expected a great job and they didn't disappoint. Their work is high quality, efficient and clean. The team is very personable, they arrive on time and always keep me up to date on their progress.

It was 5 star work again. I will use them for any future projects.

I had not heard of Ideal Remodeling before April 2018 and didn’t know anyone who had. I decided to take a chance on them after speaking with Mike and listening to his ideas. After the experience of working with them, I will use only Ideal for future projects.

Mike and his team (Rodney & Sean) did a complete remodel of my master bath and updated my main bath at the same time. Additionally they installed new doors in my kitchen, railings on my front steps, decorative molding around my windows and various other updates.

All projects look great especially the master bath where they removed the old tub, sink and toilet and installed new vanity, sink and toilet and a beautiful walk in tiled shower. Following Mike’s suggestion they installed a curbless shower, which looks fabulous and will allow me to “age in place”.

Mike and his team are very personable and easy to work with. If there were issues (which were rare), they were addressed to my satisfaction. Each day before they left Rodney would tell me what the plans were for the next day, which was very helpful. During the last 2 weeks of work, Rodney would say every day “we won’t leave until you are happy”. They were true to their word!

Mike and his team did an amazing job replacing my large bay window and completely fixing and upgrading the side of my dining room wall in and outside of the house along with the outside siding due to weather damage. Ideal Remodeling came in clutch when a contractor - we thought we could trust - renovated our shower and ended up totally destroying it. I called around to several contractors in the area. Mike was quick to respond and give an estimate, and work on the shower commenced almost immediately. Everyone was detailed and thoughtful when communicating. My husband and I have used Ideal for both our master bathroom and kitchen renovations, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome for both rooms. Throughout the process, we always felt informed on what was happening and when, and any natural reno problems that came up were handled. For example, we needed to match our discontinued hard wood floor in the kitchen, which turned into a difficult process, but Rodney was fantastic at hunting down a match that is so close, you can't even tell that our old floor and new floor are patched together, which is also a testament to Mike's craftsmanship since it was NOT an easy task to complete. Rodney and Mike are always focused on quality while providing guidance on what they think will work and what won't, which is invaluable for a homeowner with no reno experience. I never felt uncomfortable asking "dumb" questions or sharing my ideas. Highly recommended!

Ideal Remodeling framed out an entire bedroom and closet for me at my house. They also sheet rocked, trimmed it out, and installed all of the doors and they did an AMAZING job.

April 30, 2019 I wish there was enough time tonight to give a detailed description of how very superior "Ideal Remodeling" is when compared to their competition. In essence:

I researched for so long to find just the right people to completely remodel two full bathrooms, and once I experienced owner Mike's thorough and tailored-to-the client's-needs presentation, I was sold.

The members of the remodeling team became like family during the almost 2 month process and they made the demolition and construction of two new bathrooms at opposite ends of the house a relatively seamless process.

Project Manager Rodney is the very soul of the team. He is a consummate professional who somehow manages several projects at a time with his creative intelligence and ability to make things happen almost as soon as you ask him if it is possible to ....(.fill in the blank here.) He is hands on as much as possible. He truly IS the glue which holds it all together. Whatever he is getting paid, he deserves double.

Re-modeler Justin is the heart of the team and he does whatever needs doing. My 2 grandchildren were enthralled by him and the way he loved his work. It showed. I'll never forget how Rodney and Justin let the two small boys help them put the finishing touches on my new shower bench.

Master craftsman Yuri was so good at the lost art of tiling, that I wanted to watch him work as much as possible. He is awesome in placing individual tiles and he does it very carefully. It's all in the detail, and he has it down pat. Take a look at the "Mantua Project" video and you will see what I mean. Assistant Ilya was in the same realm. He also paid such attention to detail.

Both Rodney and Yuri told me at different times how much they saw MY house as THEIR house each and every day, and therefore everything had to be perfect.

Eugene the painter and Darryl the electrician both took such pride in their work, and it was evident by how much they wanted everything to be just right.

Dan & Gavin from "Just Glass and Mirror" of Williamstown measured, installed, and created additional perfection when customizing the glass enclosure portion of my new shower. Gavin taught me about the advantage of having Diamon-Fusion built into the glass as the glass was being made. The thought of almost never having to clean the shower enclosure again was such a wonderful feature. And the glass looks SO GOOD after a shower...It's like magic!

Kevin of Avalon Tile & Flooring Deptford was by far one of the most helpful people of all. He assisted me in selecting the best possible tile combinations for my shower, walls and flooring. I cannot say enough about him

I used a plumbing supply company for vanity furniture and a few other things, but I ended up researching and then designing my own faucet & shower head look. The Moen technicians were fabulous in the support they provided.

Now that this particular project has come to an end, I do not miss the noise, but I do miss the ones who made it all happen.

Project Manager Rodney is the absolute BEST in the business, and his team is second to none. I highly recommend them for all your remodeling needs.
